Tracey - Graffiti Artist

Tracey is a ‘forty-something' mum from Australia who is still trying to figure out what she wants to do when she grows up. Somehow, in the past 16 years of being a full-time mum (or 'CEO Domestic Affairs') she just hasn't got round to getting back into the workforce.

In the meantime, she has become addicted to the internet, drinking coffee, and avoiding housework. She's been blogging for a few years ‘to practise her writing', but it was only when she stopped for a few months that she was asked to contribute to PowderRoomGraffiti. She's still trying to figure out if there's some deeper significance to the timing of that.

Some people think she and her husband are crazy because their idea of time out together is to go on a 100km bike ride - preferably on their tandem. They also ride tandems with their three daughters, and like to get away on family holidays that either feature cycling, or some other outdoor activity. The rest of the time it's the usual family madness - ie. ‘just another manic mum day'.

In the blogging world, Tracey is a small fish in a big ocean, but she enjoys the opportunity to connect with other women around the world, and to share the ups and downs of approaching middle age. (Please don't tell her that she's probably, statistically, already hit that demographic.)
