Mona Finston - Graffiti Artist

Mona Finston
Mona began her career in the theater, touring the United States playing characters as diverse as an evil stepsister, a Munchkin, Humpty Dumpty and a toy soldier. After graduating from children's theater, she worked as a singer with the USO performing at military bases throughout the US and locales including Cuba and Greenland. Closer to home, she worked as a singer/keyboard player and performed her one-woman cabaret show in New York City clubs and hotels.

While still singing at night, Mona joined the corporate community by day as a publicist. In 1995, she became a full time pr consultant and in 2009, launched, with a longtime friend and colleague, m & j marketing communications - by and for Boomer Women. Recognizing the need for more effective, smart and targeted marketing to women over 40, their goal is to help companies create messages that resonate with this important, multi-faceted and often invisible demographic. To see the new m & j website please visit: www.mandjboomers.com.

Amidst all the corporate activity, Mona reclaimed her love of performing by taking classes in improvisation and musical improv - where entire songs are created on the spot, created from audience suggestions. And as a direct result of these classes, she recently completed work on Banker/Bankee - A Tale of Finance and Romance, a full-length musical show, for which she wrote the songs, lyrics and book.

Mona lives in New York City with her dear boyfriend Dennis.
