Janie Emaus - Graffiti Artist

Janie Emaus
Janie Emaus has been writing ever since she was a little girl, which according to her grandchildren was in the dark ages, way before cell phones, DVD's and even computers!
She lives in Southern California with her wonderful husband of thirty years. Now that their children are grown, the spare bedroom is crowded with imaginary characters coming and going all the time, each one leaving behind a little bit of themselves.

Janie's work has appeared in the 'Chicken Soup for the Soul' books, Woman's World, True Confessions, Los Angeles Times Kids' Reading Room Page and various literary magazines. She has worked as a writer-for-hire for Parachute Press, the packager of the popular Goosebumps and Fear Street series.

She currently writes a weekly humor column, A Blogging Baby Boomer at Fabulously40 and Publishers Marketplace.

Her short stories can be found at BellaOnline and LA Times.

She is currently at work on a novel for the Baby Boomer generation.
